Mole Hill Housing

Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, 2005, National Honor Award. My Scope: Project Landscape Architect. Conceptual Design through working drawings and site supervision.

This unique urban housing project included the re-development and restoration of 27 City of Vancouver-owned houses in the heart of Vancouver's West End that provide 170 units of non-market housing for low-income singles, families, seniors and long-time residents of the block. The project construction of community gardens and greenways, three daycares, as well as a day centre facility that includes 24 units of supported housing for people with HIV/AIDS.

Burnaby East Secondary School

Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, 2001, National Honor Award. My Scope: Project Landscape Architect. Conceptual design through working drawings and site supervision.

The high school site makes extensive use of the sports field for geothermal heating/cooling of the school along with an extensive bio-filtration system integrated into the overall site design and parking lots.

BC Hydro Corporate Plaza

Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, 2000, Regional Merit Award. My Scope: Project Landscape Architect. Detained design, construction budgets, technical drawing coordination.

Among the numerous design opportunities and constraints, this corporate plaza in downtown Vancouver, BC, is split between being a traditional on grade plaza and one that sits on top of a underground parking garage.
